The Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock Arkansas is a really nicely done, excellent museum. Nice selection of artworks and a nice special exhibit. Museum is free all the time. Small but worth the visit.

Free admission to a very nice art museum. Staff is very helpful. Security stationed in each room. Ongoing renovations so not every room is available. Worth the time spent. Beautiful setting. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds.

The 'Independent Vision' exhibit is wel worth seeing. However, the permanent collection has a few pieces from multiple genres. It's like examples in a text book.
