Calm and peaceful in a somewhat haunting way. It is a testimonial to what Thomas Jefferson said; "There's no such thing as an honorable war or an unjust peace."

When we travel, we love to visit the cemeteries to learn about the history in the area. Take time to remember the fallen and all the families that were affected by the loss of their loved ones. I always think as a mother how I would feel to have to let my babies go off to war and for them... More

It's a wonderful place, although sad when I have been there for a funeral. Arkansas should be proud of the way it is set up. I heart goes out to everyone who has laid someone to rest there.

I love going to military cemeteries. It's such a humbling experience. I went for a walk here on a beautiful Sunday morning, I never saw another person.

This national cemetery is beautiful and well kept but I think they all are. There are avenues you can drive on and places to park. Visit on Memorial Day and you might see the governor. I can't think of anyone "famous" being buried here, just ordinary officers and enlisted men. I have a friend buried here. I need to get... More

The cemetery is very well kept and is peaceful and solemnly beautiful. We just drove through so we weren't looking for a particular grave. There was no one around if you needed help you would be on his own. It's in a very sketchy part of town so don't go by yourself and go during the day. It is worth... More

It is beautiful and awe-inspiring as all national cemeteries are but is located in an icky part of town. In addition, there was no help to find anything I was looking for.

Beautiful resting place for our fallen soldiers. The rows are perfectly straight and everything is the same. Millitary style and quite breathtaking.

I recently visited the park and there are rows upon rows of graves. Nobody was around to answer questions and they ignore mail about the location of graves. This was once outside the city and now it is in what would be considered to be not the best place to be wandering around by yourself. Though well kept good luck... More
