You have to find a way to deal with parking, but once that’s out of the way, the beach is wonderful. The water is great for families with small children, the beach for couples wanting to just hang out.

There are plenty of places for food right in the beach. The others are correct for gas.

The water should be fine, don't know if jellyfish will be in season. There is a waterfront hotel (Duke of York), lots of other hotels and timeshares on the lower Peninsula. Not familiar with the VRBO acronym.
