Next to the parking structure on the west end of the Yorktown waterfront across from the Waterman's Museum is this nice little shop specializing in items of local production. Like most gift shops it has a variety of gift or souvenir items and is a nice place for a quick shop after a meal at one of the eateries across... More

We fell in love with this little shop. The art in here (including the jewelry and pottery) is fantastic and is apparently mostly or completely all locally created. We bought a couple of pairs of earrings, but we were tempted by so many things. If this type of shop has any attraction for you we encourage you to drop in... More

Auntie M's and a gift shop in Homer, Alaska are tied for my favorites. Auntie M's has the advantage of being located in a much kinder climate. From handmade children's clothing to nativity sets to refrigerator magnets, everything appeared to be top quality and artfully crafted. Auntie M's has a wonderfully wide selection of wool art as well.

Among the quaint shops of the Riverwalk Landing is the Annie M American craft center. It is a small shop but has some very interesting and eye catching pieces. Great place to browse on the waterfront. I thought the fish made out of reused bottle caps and golf balls was very interesting. There was lots of flannel and cloth art... More

This shop has so many interesting handmade and unique art objects for your home that are made in the USA. It's definitely worth the walk down from the historic homes on Main Street. You never know what interesting treasure you may find!

Visited Oct 20th in the afternoon. This shop has the most beautiful items. I bought 2 items. We were the only people in the store. The sales associate never spoke a word to me even after taking my money. The store is wonderful but the staff could care less.

I am so sorry. We discovered upon awakening that morning that my house had flooded due to a malfunctioning dishwasher that was started the night before. Water pumped all night into my house. Unfortunately, we are still displaced to date - January 16, 2016. Please accept my apology. Good news is that we have stayed for 10 weeks at the... More

I had wanted to stop in at Auntie M's after the TripAdvisor reviews I had read and I'm so glad that I did. It's really one of the only retail storefronts in Yorktown. It's hard to know where to look--the whole store is jam packed with crafts ranging from jewelry to table runners to "pop out" 3D paintings... If I... More

This shop speaks to my heart: handcrafted, local, unique. There are so many interesting things here I had to walk around the whole shop twice just admiring everything before I REALLY started looking (and apparently I missed the button bracelets anyway!). I have a feeling the inventory changes so I'm excited to stop back next time we make it to... More

The tag line for this lovely shop is, "Where history meets handmade". It fits well in the historic area of Yorktown. Almost all of the items for sale are handcrafted by local and regional artists. It is an eclectic mix of fine art and re-purposed materials along with pottery and artisan jewelry. What a nice place to shop, browse, and... More
