Go at or close to sunset. The view is beautiful. Great place to take the kids and teach them the history of how we became a free and independent nation. The kids will get to help and learn how to set off a cannon

Great walking area with a small variety of shops and food options. The beach area was beautiful and clean. It was well patrolled by Local law enforcement personnel which were engaging and helpful.

Pleasant riverside promenade going from the Revolution museum along the riverside past the beach, eateries and bars. Nice walk with a bot of breeze off the river on a hot day.

I really enjoyed the scenery. Nice place to walk around and people watch. Plenty of people swimming as well. Decent sized beach. I prefer the Gulf Coast, but I enjoyed walking around.

Loved the area of the riverwalk. The shops & restaurants give this place a lovely quaint feeling while out exlporing the history of our nation.

After sightseeing in Yorktown, stop by the Riverwalk Landing and enjoy walking along the river. Very peaceful and quiet, lots of little shops and restaurants and nice views. Parking is free. Enjoy!
