This monument is small, but easily reached from most of the area's hotels. It's well worth a stop if you have any interest in the area. The Huey is nicely preserved.

This was right behind the hotel I stayed at but I probably would have visited it anyways after seeing on google earth. Very cool with the welcoming the return family statuary and the Static Huey in flight.

Have to admit we found this by accident, as it was adjacent to our lodging for the night. What a tremendous find! A Huey ready to land - you decide where! Surrounded by American Flags and the names of all Western Slope Veterans who served...More

Beautifully laid out tribute to those who served, and fell, in Vietnam. Your presence on the platform triggers Paint it Black and the noise of a 'copter - evocative of that era when so much was asked of American youth. A lovely place.

My father is a Vietnam Veteran and it is so nice to have a beautiful place to have to honor him and all of our Vietnam Veterans. Beautiful place and tribute to our heroes. Thank you and Welcome Home🇺🇸

Very nice memorial. Bad location. Right in the middle of a bunch of resturants and other businesses. Looks like not a lot of thought went into this project.

The Vietnam War Memorial is right behind the Colorado Visitors Center, which is located at the Fruita exit on I-70. Just look for the Huey on the memorial's pedestal.
