Great place for a quick bite!

There are many cool shops in the market - clothing, art, meat, flowers....even a cat adoption stall! I came for a quick bite to eat and had a slice of quiche - 1/2 off as I got... read more

This is a charming and friendly market, with small local startup restaurants, camera stalls, and a few artisanal booths. There were many interesting and tasty looking menus, but all of the food vendors were in short supply, and had little food to offer. The farmers stalls looked good, with fresh produce and baked goods, but a lot of repetition. They... More

There are many cool shops in the market - clothing, art, meat, flowers....even a cat adoption stall! I came for a quick bite to eat and had a slice of quiche - 1/2 off as I got there towards closing time. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the vendor - place isn't that big though, and she'll be easy... More

We enjoyed the diversity of vendors and the quality of products. Had a hard time deciding what eat while we were there as all the choices so incredibly delicious . Already planning on going back.

I love going to farmers markets whenever visiting a new area - seeing the locally-produced fruits and vegetables, crafts and added-value food products is a great way to experience local color, and this market is frequented by many locals as well as visitors. Pretzel buns, bulk whole grains, heirloom tomatoes, alpaca wool clothing, a humane society booth with an adoptable kitten,... More

Food- Get the NZ Meat Pies from Cheeky's or the the really good Greek. Shops - This is a very small market in my opinion but we have enjoyed some of the local made cheeses and breads and have found a few great little gifts from here.

The 2nd Street Market is a great place to hang out for a couple of hours, grab a snack or quick lunch, and take in all the eclectic vendors Dayton has to offer. Definitely worth the trip.

Market is nice but very crowded and not that many vendors. My real reason for this review is to warn people not to try to eat at Annie's sandwich stand. It's a simple stand with a few sandwiches and was the only stand with no line. That should have told me something. I ordered a corned beef and Swiss sandwich,... More

We live in the suburbs of Dayton, so we frequent the market often. Our favorite stop is the flower man where you can get an armful of flowers for next to nothing, especially if you get there near closing. Right next to the flowers is a small booth with bakery items by Ann - at least get a slick of... More

It was an exciting experience to visit the market. The crafts were amazing, the specialty shops and the samples offered was worth the visit. I especially enjoyed the flavored olive oils. They have made wonderful dipping oils with a wine tasting party.
