Within Carillon Historical Park is an available tour of the Wright brother's home at Hawthorn Hill. Reservations are needed for this and it is only offered specific days of the week. Tour groups are small (11 guests) with an assigned guide. You are shuttled to the residence (about a 5 minute drive). The tour takes about one and a half... More

This is a great place to visit to see what hidden things have happened in Dayton. Its really hard to believe that so many inventions were created here.

Easy access, beautiful at Christmas, many acres to wonder, on the river (rarity for Ohio!). I'm disappointed charges have been added to some areas previously free. Lots of local history.

We were at Carillon the week of Christmas. The Carillon lighted tree is so beautiful! Inside the park, the historical buildings and displays were alive with people in period costumes, complete with gingerbread baking, old printing presses, etc etc! Interesting and interactive! Great evening for all ages!

Great in the summer, concerts, train and flight museums. Special at Christmas too! Nice place to take a walk.

I have been going to Carillon Park for many years. My daughter even had her wedding reception at the Transportation Center. This year Carillon decided to go all out with an 1800's Christmas theme. This is a living history museum in downtown Dayton. They decked the bell tower out with 20,000 lights and it is magical! Walk to it and... More

Our family loves Carillon Park so we couldn't wait to check it out. It's so worth it. Seeing all the lights on the bell tower before you enter is amazing. The sight from outside & even inside is a great experience. Once you get inside the park (only $13 for my wife, daughter, and me) you get to do many... More

If you are one to look at Christmas lights the bell tower at the Carillon park is must. Go early and visit the museum. A Dayton treasure that is a well kept secret for some reason.
