This park was very nice to explore and really see how historic Bradenton was. The staff was pleasant, the museum house was quaint and the walking path was very easy to navigate. The park's free brochure that had a guided tour of the place was also a nice touch. There was many park benches along the way and big Willow... More

Nice little historical park with general store, school house, church, barn, boat work and other buildings. ( Also a modern restroom.) Some beautiful, centuries old trees provide much shade and beauty. I was there with friends to paint en plein air. A school group was visiting and the kids were having a good time, walking through the buildings, seeing antique... More

Very nice little pioneer village of early years in FL. Interesting history of people who settled in Bradenton Fl area. The people who ran it was very helpful. My husband belongs to Sons Of The Union & they had their meeting on the grounds. Then across street is the Burying Grounds of some soldiers from the Civil War & also... More

Looking for a weather day something to do, then head to the Manatee Village Historical Park. It is easy to locate south of downtown Bradenton, FL while heading east on Highway 64, (Manatee Avenue). You can't miss the large locomotive which is a highlight of the visit. There are plenty of out building depicting the beginning history of Manatee County.... More

The Manatee Village Historical Park is a wonderful reflection on the people whose labors of love created this village, on the town of Bradenton, and on the state of Florida. The Village has an old general store, with very kind and helpful volunteers, a church, courthouse, one room schoolhouse, boat works, a fine example of an early Florida family home,... More

Came here with my parents after seeing it on tripadvisor. Man working in the general store was very nice and informative with the history. it was nice to be able to control what you see and when you see it, other historical places are strict with what they allow you to see. pleasantly enjoyed ourselves.
