The park is a throwback. No bells or whistles but really a great place to watch a Spring Training game. Easy to move around, every seat close to the action, tickets priced reasonably. Plenty of food and beer concessions, also priced reasonably. Employees were universally friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room on the grounds to move around and... More

We have gone to Pirates spring training games and also had ticket plan for the Marauders. The park is beautiful, not a bad seat in the house. Ticket prices are very reasonable and the food and concession stands are great. Would definitely recommend seeing a game there, lots of fun events and give a ways also. The ticket sales staff... Classic 1923 stadium with a dynamite new fan-friendly facelift. Good views, even from the outfield bleacher area, upgraded food concessions, ample clean restrooms, nice grassy lounging/eating area with some kid's activities, a fun boardwalk for strolling...all close to downtown Bradenton and its other attractions. You really feel part of the game here.

the field needs help, but it is still the only game in town. The pirates have been an archive for Bradenton for a long time, and do still play a good game.

Great ballpark in downtown Bradenton area. Home of the Pittsburg Pirates! Seating is excellent almost all throughout the park. Prices for professional MLB Spring Training games are among the most reasonable in the area. Recent upgrades and additions to the center field standing area make this an attractive place for the whole family.

This is one of the nicer spring training parks I have been to! The view from all the seats was great but the outfield open area was the best view and less crowded than the rest of the park.

McKechnie Field is the best small baseball park, whether going for spring training or minor league baseball. The park still maintains the nostalgic aura of an older park but with all the amenities you need. The boardwalk around the outfield provides great viewing and the tiki bar captures the ambience of the Friendly City of Bradenton. Sunshine or shade, serious... More

McKechnie Field has undergone several renovations through the years. The current incarnation places it in the top of the minor league fields I have visited across the country.
