What a fantastic place to enjoy spring training. Prices are getting a bit high with Season (17) games over $400 now. Lots of great seats. Too bad they sold out the name and now it's going to be known as Lecom stadium. Corporate greed of the Pittsburg Pirates.

Don't expect a major league experience. But, if you at looking for a local, hometown experience, this is the place for you. Pick a player and "make him your own" - cheer him on like he's in the majors. Trust me, he will hear you. This is a small stadium where you will feel like you're part of what's going... More

The history in Bradenton's McKechnie Field makes it one of Spring Training's must-sees. The Pirates have built over the former parking lot abutting the field in order to expand ticket taking areas, restrooms, and allow for a decent sized merchandise store and walk-up food/drink counters. There is a large boardwalk in the outfield with newer restrooms as well. The real... More

The park is a throwback. No bells or whistles but really a great place to watch a Spring Training game. Easy to move around, every seat close to the action, tickets priced reasonably. Plenty of food and beer concessions, also priced reasonably. Employees were universally friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room on the grounds to move around and... More

We have gone to Pirates spring training games and also had ticket plan for the Marauders. The park is beautiful, not a bad seat in the house. Ticket prices are very reasonable and the food and concession stands are great. Would definitely recommend seeing a game there, lots of fun events and give a ways also. The ticket sales staff... Classic 1923 stadium with a dynamite new fan-friendly facelift. Good views, even from the outfield bleacher area, upgraded food concessions, ample clean restrooms, nice grassy lounging/eating area with some kid's activities, a fun boardwalk for strolling...all close to downtown Bradenton and its other attractions. You really feel part of the game here.
