We stopped here on the way to Death Valley National Park. Read about it, and wanted to see the Opera House literally in the middle of nowhere! They give tours twice daily. We had to wait until 5:00, even tho no one else showed up...More

This place is quite an experience. It is amazing how the lady that started this opera house painted every mural that surrounds this place inside making it look like people are actually watching the performances being presented by her.

Our ukulele group was fortunate enough to perform on this stage to a bunch of ukulele players! It was just the most fun weekend ever. If you stop, I hope you can get inside to see it! The walls are the best!

Not a tour but the live performances are good. Probably even better when the founder was alive organizing it. They close when it gets to hot.

My friends and I went to a performance on a Saturday night, it is a combination of dance and ballet with video and movie reel and other features. The theater and show is a tribute to Marta Beckett, a prima ballerina who left NYC to...More

Delightful performance by a solo ballerina. Performance begins with a very informative audio presentation about the history of the theatre and Marta Beckett

We stopped here to take photos on our way to the Longstreet Hotel. It seems like a ghost town, without being a ghost town. No-one in sight. Just a couple of white-painted buildings, reflecting the desert sun, but with a strong sense of atmosphere. Worth...More
