This is one of the easiest hikes in the Mammoth Lakes area and a great way to acclimatize to the altitude. Finish off with a hike around the lake, go swimming in the cold, clear water and head home. A wonderful morning

One of my fav trails at Mammoth, this time cut short due to thunderstorm, but the result on Lake Mary was so worth it!

Dont miss this hike when in Mammoth.....not difficult...and stunning!! Best to go early....and lots of water. I did it with my 87 year old father...anyone can do it!
