Depending on what time of the year you travel, plan ahead as you must have a timed entry pass. These can be obtained same day from Park Visitor's Center, but plan ahead and pay and order online (the $1.50 convenience fee is worth it).

If you're a history lover you'll love this tour. We had to wait about 30 minutes in the to get in but it was well worth it. The tour is led by a park ranger. It is very well done. You can ask questions. And the ranger is quite knowledgeable and honest. Impressive history.

Her name was Patricia and her personality and passion for the history here was bigger than life. I wish she had been my teacher when I was in school. She brought us to laughter and tears while explaining what had taken place and in this historical location. She will be the reason we return with friends to learn more. This... More

Means a lot to be there. It symbolizes so much for so many. It truly is liberty at its best. The origin of our democracy and pride. I love the place.

I have been to Independence Hall several times and I am always impressed by the tour guides. In 30 minutes, they always focus on the main idea of the tour, such as the Declaration, and do not spend 10 minutes talking about a chair or something. We took my twin daughters there because they have a project for school and... More

A must do! Very knowledgeable staff - short but well run tour. Independence Hall is beautifully maintained. Consider downloading the app for more information and things to do. Definitely worth a visit.

Our founding fathers fought out the words, meanings and ultimately signed our Constitution and Declaration of Independence in this building. The rooms were much smaller than I envisioned. A quick 30 minute tour and lecture by a US Parks Ranger gave interesting facts and the dangers our founding fathers met and what they accomplished here. Now if modern politicians could take... More
