Make sure you get tickets first. I'm told they can sell out in the afternoon. They are free, but can be purchased for $1.50 ahead of time if you want. There is security but it moves quickly. You can walk right up the the bell and take pictures. The crack in the bell is huge ! There's also independence hall... More

The weather turned chilly so the line wasn't very long. Summertime during school leave can be a lot worse. Definitely worth a visit to this historical site. One of a kind visit!

Must see for anyone living near around or in Philly. Absolutely love it. Been there almost 5 times this year cos it's about ten blocks away from my work place. I take all my visitors there too. Def a must see.

A very well laid out and informative site. Worth the short wait and great for children. Definitely include the house of Thomas Jefferson too.

You stand in the room where the Declaration of Independence was signed- very cool. The tour is ok and lasts about 45 minutes. The building off to the side where the first Congress was held is also really cool and has an interesting history. Dress warmly!! You will be waiting outside even if it is cold!

Actually, it does not matter how many times you visit, you are always wonder struck that you are standing on the same spots as our Founding Fathers. The Building is very... More
