It's free entrance. The ranger who gave us the tour did a marvelous job. He gave a very enjoyable American history lesson, not boring. The youngsters probably would learn a lot from this short time tour than sitting through their entire history class. I sure...More

We visited on a Saturday in February. No tickets were required and it is free. Before your tour you must go through security (bag check and metal detector). Then you wait outside for your tour to start. We waited about 10 minutes. Later in the...More

No trip to Philadelphia is complete without a visit to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Our Park Service guide was entertaining and instructive.

Brought 23 high school students here for the tour. It was surprisingly short, thought it would be longer but it was still powerfully historic and gave feeling to the history of the Declaration of Independence. It was very easy to find and tickets were not...More

This is a good place to visit in Philly. Comes from the history etc. But 2 negative points: 1. We had to stand in the line for almost 40 minutes to enter (so cold outside) and so many people when we tried to take pictures

A must stop by all who visit Philadelphia. History still alive. The liberty bell represents what our country meant and still means today.

Nice to visit as it concerns the base of the United States. The rangers can tell nice stories. However do not expect too much of it the tour takes 15-20 minutes

In many ways..the most important piece of metal in Philly! When you see it up close, you will think it is smaller than you would expect... then you keep looking at it...and you see how real it is... and think about it coming to life...More

Right by the liberty bell. We were able to walk right in to the security area with no line on a Friday afternoon. They take groups in for a twenty minute presentation so we did have to wait about 15 minutes for the next tour....More

Thanks, it's right in the city but if you see the map on the side, it shows Coatesville, PA if you browse the "browse nearby" when you are visiting Coatesville or the area. If you filter by attraction, it shows Liberty Bell... More
