Don't miss this, it is so well preserved and such a great piece of history. Also don't miss the Christ Church cemetery which is a couple of blocks away. It is where Ben Franklin & family are buried. The cemetery is katy-korner from the Constitution...More

A must see in Philadelphia if you have any sense of history or an interest in local traditions and culture. Take an hour and explore. Also go to the graveyard.

Christ Church is a relatively short walk from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. It is brimming with history; not only is it where our leaders plotted our freedom, it is where the Church of England became the Episcopal Church. Worth the walk.

This is the church attended by the nation's Founding Fathers and Mothers when they were in Philadelphia. Many of them are buried on the grounds. Christ Church still holds services today.

The people in the gift shop were extremely knowledgeable about the church, the history of who sat where and what happened chronologically. The architecture attracted me; being similar to the church I attend.
