It’s $3 entry fee per head. Interesting to stroll through. Benjamin Franklin grave stone is worth seeing.

We took the tour! The guide's name was Bob and he was interesting and funny. He taught us about the yellow fever epidemic of 1793, about some of the old medicine techniques for treating 'melancholia' and 'hysteria' and how some of the doctors had initiated...More

I attended the program above at the Christ Church Burial ground. The tour guide was great and all the information presented was interesting. I also attended A Revolutionary Christmas at Christ Church in December. I highly recommend any program sponsored by them.

You don’t have to go in to the cemetery as Ben Franklin’s grave is accessible through open fencing. You can place a penny on his grave. I would recommend going in. It’s a lovely cemetery and the guides can offer much fun history of the...More

As someone who appreciates old cemeteries, I was grateful for this opportunity to pay respects to Ben Franklin and other signers. Interesting cemetery with many worn and broken stones, emphasizing the centuries that have passed. What was peculiar to me: several monuments that appeared to...More

Be sure to spend the few extra dollars for the guided tour. Bob was a terrific guide and source of information about the Church and the cemetery. Even as locals, we learned several things about the history of early Philadelphia and its inhabitants.
