While the museums of Philadelphia should be the highlights of anyone's trip there, this amazing mural in the lobby of a business building is a must-see. There is no charge to see it and there are places to sit to absorb the beauty of it...More
We were staying in the historic section, and a local friend told us that we were only 2 blocks from one of his favorite hidden gems in Philadelphia: the Tiffany mosaic in the Curtis Building.
We stopped in to see it (on the way to...More

The Dream Garden is one of my favorite "hidden Gens" in Philly. It is in the Curtis Center Bliging on the 6th Str side just noth of Walnut. It was created by the Tiffany Studios. It is owned by casino mogul (I think he still owens it) but it is certifified as Historical and can't be moved. WELL worth seeing if you are visiting Independence Hall. Just walk into the lobby. BTW, the Curtis Building was recently sold and will be a residential property.
