Not really a house, but the outlines of where the house was. Exhibits on the household of early presidents and how they managed it, with special emphasis on the use of slaves. A jarring contradiction to all the talk of freedom in the other revolutionary...More

We came to visit the Liberty Bell, and did not know this was here. The information on the displays around the house are sad and amazing. We learned so much about the reality of slavery, and the history.

There is no house - just outlines of where it used to be. Do love they way it is done, it makes it easy to visualize.

The President's House should have been about being the "White House" from 1790 to 1800 and the impact it had on Presidents Washington and Adams and our country. Most of the exhibit would have been fine at a museum concerning colonial era slavery, but political...More

Adjacent to the Liberty Bell this was the site of the Presidents House in Revolutionary times. The original foundation is shown and there are placards detailing the lives of the slaves here.

Exactly what it says on the tin, It is the site of the President's House - not much to see at all. On the plus side, it's next to the Liberty Bell Center, so you don't have to go out of your way.

This place is worth a quick stop on your way to the Liberty Bell. There is not much left of this place, but they did find the original foundation. They have laid out where the original house sat. While there, think about how far the...More

Very cool how they have the foundation preserved. Great to see the walls built to show you what it roughly looked like. A quick visit before going to the Liberty bell.
