Recently, on May 4th, we attended the first concert of the Festival. It was great. Especially, a member of Rachmaninoff family was in attendance, sponsored part of the festival. It was a gift to all the attendees.

We attended a special event at this Elegant performing arts center in downtown Philadelphia. I'm not sure of it's age but it seems really new with beautiful honey colored wood and a soaring glass room high above the spacious lobby that lifts your spirit as...More

Home of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the center boasts two major auditoriums. It hosts many other non-orchestra events. Acoustics are near-perfect, the great Verizon Hall is spectacular.

In addition, there are three exhibition spaces, Verizon Hall, very large and with an amazing organ, Perelman Theater, more...More

Even if your seat is in nosebleed, if you're there for the music there isn't a bad seat in the house! In fact, the sound is better up there! Excellent venue for a concert or stage performance!

This is a nice older theatre near the center of town. Has a multitude of professional talent and shows throughout the year. Make sure you check your seats well as some have poor site lines, otherwise its a good place to see a show.

To be honest...with a show like WICKED, you would want a full view of the stage. Not sure what areas of the stage you won't be able to see. Go online, view seating chart to see which areas are blocked. Good luck... More
