Nice place to take a walk, or bring a hammock and just watch the world go by. Not too far from everything, definitely worth taking a little walk here! Can be especially beautiful for sunset.

I came across this trail by accident while we were in the Philly area for a tournament. So glad I found it--I went running twice here and loved how well maintained it was and great sights along the way. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back to explore some more.

We walked from independence hall to the river walk and back. This was a blister foot walk that went through downtown and through some interesting and older parts of Philadelphia. The river trail was filled with walkers and bicycles. Sandwiched between train tracks and a river, we walked a short distance then headed back to the city.

The trail was about 15 minutes walking from our hotel. It is a paved path along the river, and goes for miles. There are benches along the way to rest. We had a nice day with a breeze, so the walk was truly enjoyable. Great views of the Universities across the river.

Schulykill River Trail is filled with bikes. It’s a nice walk along the tow path, but stay to the railing side, or you risk getting run down.

Whenever we are in Philly, I run along this trail. It features nice views of the river, some outdoor sculpture, and interesting buildings, as well as the river usually being filled with crew teams.

My husband and I spent the afternoon walking along the trail. The last time we were on the trail it was about 3 years ago. At that time it stopped around Locust St. It has been extended beyond that to around South St. We just heard this week that it will be extended even farther in the other direction. 29,000... More

On leaving the rocky statue i walked along the river trail towards 30th street station. It is well marked out for cyclist and walkers and is flat and easy to follow
