The famous Wanamaker Organ is still played every day at noon at Macy's in one of Daniel Burnham's most magical spaces the atriam with the Wanamaker Eagle. Come at Christmas to see the light show. Quite Kitch but a crowd pleaser.

We attended the 45-minute long 5:30 "concert" inside the Macy's store. This was a fantastic demo of this organ......very impressive.

The eagle at Wanamaker's is a popular land mark. People usually meet at the eagle, as a starting point , for center city Philadelphia meet and greets. The organ is alive and well It is usually played during the holiday season

definitely an interesting spot to check out. The organ is located in a Macy's store. There's a little information about the organ on the ground floor when you're looking up at the organ, but there could be a little more information included.
