Price a little high for such a small place but I still say if you are an adult seeking an educational and out of the ordinary place to visit, it is worth checking out.

We heard of this lovely attraction through Groupon and decided to make the 1 hour trek to see it. I had lived in Japan before I was married. This home took me back to Kyoto! The smell of tatami rice mats and the quiet swish...More

The building ad the gardens were very nice but not that big. We visited in September so not that much in bloom.

What a delight to walk through this small morsal of tranquility in Fairmont Park. Take off your shoes and soak in the fine surfaces, angles and views of this house and garden.

It's safe, provided you're safe. Fairmount Park does have rough sections to it, but the south side of it is not one of them. Take your typical amount of urban caution, and you should be fine.
