Featuring The area's only complete wax collection of American Presidents and their first ladies as well as a beautiful gift shop. The Hall of Presidents is located across the street from the Gettysburg Tour Center and next to the main entrance of the National Cemetery. It is incredible to be able to see what our Presidents really looked like and to hear the words attributed to them as if the words came from the very lips of the figures themselves. The Hall of First Ladies present authentic 1/3 size reproductions of the First Ladies in their inaugural gowns.

Had to stop by

We had to stop by the Hall of Presidents just to stop by. It was cute, but don't miss something else if your on a time restraint.

So life like. The value for what you paid was good. I enjoyed the history lessons and the displays. Really was pleasantly surprised.

This attraction has life size wax models of each of the presidents and first ladies. Most of them are very well done with only a few images not too accurate. You pass through several rooms and get to sit and listen to each president speak about some item of note during his presidency. Then you go into a room with... More

This was an interesting Wax Museum. I liked the fact that they had each president lit up as he spoke a few words revealing details about his presidency.

The Hall of Presidents and First Ladies features the Gettysburg's only complete wax collection of American Presidents and their first ladies. The Hall of Presidents presents life-size wax figures of all of the presidents in chronological order. Each president presents a 1-2 minute "self-voiced" presentation of highlights of their presidency. In the next exhibit, there are half-size wax figures of... More

Very good history lesson. Fair representation of the Presidents. It gave the feel of being in a funeral home. We were very disappointed with the First Ladies being a room full of doll-sized figures. The First Ladies should have been portrayed as important as the Presidents.

Loved seeing/hearing the brief blurbs of history from each of the Presidential life size mannequins. Each President tells briefly who they were and what they stood for or accomplished while in office. A great mini history lesson for all our POTUSs. The Hall of First Ladies however was a total waste I felt, perhaps that's why it was included as... More

Decided to pop in to see what this was all about. Interesting museum featuring wax figures of all the presidents. Fact filled presentation. The reproductions of the first ladies gowns was very nice. The staff was also very nice. It was a pleasant side trip.

An hour audio tour. Wax museum. Presidents are not accurate in appearance but most are recognizable. A quick history lesson for each president. Each room has a handful of presidents. You have a seat and listen to each president tell the highlights of his term. Very disappointed in the first ladies room. No history about them, only about their dresses!!... More

In my research for my Gettysburg trip I found a coupon for admission to this attraction. We didn't know much about it, but we were trying to do as much as possible while we were there. If I recall, the price was a bit more than it was probably worth but I was also very pleasantly surprised and learned quite... More
