Several activities are offered - The movie, the Cyclorama, the museum featuring the events of each day, gift shop, lunch room, buses to Eisenhower Farm. There really is something for every Civil War buff plus the Eisenhower farm. We live close by and have visited on numerous occassions. You also have a opportunity to join the Museum Foundation to assist... More

We saw the movie "Lincoln" there. It was great and offered at a decent price. It was a special viewing.

The Museum & Visitor Center was a perfect hub for our tour. The Museum and Cyclorama are worth the trip alone! Plus, you can find any type of souvenirs here and also a very nice restaurant!

My first visit to Gettysburg, and I am not a big Civil War buff. The museum, film and cyclorama was outstanding. LOTS of information and a great base for the battlefield visit.

The museum and movie are informative and interesting, but the cyclorama takes things to the next level. It is an immersive experience that brings the battles of Gettysburg to life.

I have been a Civil War buff for as long as I. An remember, and a reenactor for 15 years. Gettysburg has always been a desired pilgrimage for me. The museum and cyclorama exceeded my expectations. The quality of the museum and amount of original items and interactive opportunities did disappoint. I spent around two hours and probably could have... More

Seeing the diorama at the Civil War Museum today at the "new" Museum and having seen the diorama at the original museum in Gettysburg back in the late 1950's is quite a revelation; this diorama is impactful. We enjoyed every moment and will return in the future!
