The Gettysburg Story brings America's greatest battle alive - for buffs and novices. The film uses stunning aerial cinematography and 3D dynamic maps to give a basic understanding of the battle in an hour. It's perfect for newcomers and students. The companion self-guided Auto Tour take visitors around the actual battlefield - dramatically telling the story at the very place that events took place. The Gettysburg Story was created by filmmaker Jake Boritt, based on works by historian Gabor Boritt and narrated by Stephen Lang (Avatar, Gettysburg).

Lots of different auto tours to choose from. Spend the money and get this one. Different lengths of tours. Talked between stops not just at the stop. The only downside was you could only listen to it in the car. I could not figure out...More

Very detailed narration and the auto tour was well-marked. The longer tour would be better without bringing the kids along as they got bored before the end.

This is the way to see the Battlefields with young kids who get bored easily. We grabbed a map and drove slowly around and stopped at each of the three observation towers and Devils Den (where there is also a small castle looking tower). The...More
