If you have any interest or are a Gettysburg historian this is a must visit location. The rock formations are so recognizable if you have seen any of the photos taken during that time that you can almost feel the history.
Great place to get out and walk around with kids. Like others have said: being there you’re able to imagine the battles - soldiers maneuvering around the large rocks, keeping cover, etc. It was very hot and sunny so remember the sunscreen and water!
