A great place to visit. Takes an hour if you are an average walker. We visited on a cloudy day and still sweated a bit. So if it’s sunny out, have water and sunscreen. Perfect for kids of all ages.

This was an interesting place to visit. On the top is hot, dry old volcano creator on the bottom you hike down to where there is frozen ice in the cave

The ice cave access is limited to a platform that you stand on to look into it. I did not really find it overly impressive. They have eliminated further access due to vandalism and poor behavior on some visitor's part. However, the Bandera Volcano and...More

Amazing find just off the road. All self guided, fairly easy walk, take as much time as you want, see history & be surprised. Dirt/gravel road was no problem for the RV, with a large turn around even a trucker would like. Owner was very...More

I was able to finish both in less than an hour. I did walk pretty quickly, and probably rushed a little because a storm was coming in. I don't think that it would have taken more than 2 hours at a reasonable pace and reading... More
