We crossed the bridge in April with no problem. No construction. No toll. When the bridge was paid for the toll was removed. Yes, you can get to the Long Beach Peninsula easily crossing the bridge. While there check out the light houses. North head is a favorite. Cranberry Museum is fun. Especially at harvest time in October.
