Short, easy, lush, green hike with well-marked trails that take you to these enormous trees (& if you go all the way to the top--which isn't that far) you'll also get to see the Astoria Column!

This is a very nice trail in Astoria. It leads from Irving Ave. up to the Astoria Column via the Cathedral Tree.

Great on a hot day, this walk takes you along a nice wooded trail. The main event is an old tree which is super cool. Lots of incline, but not difficult.

This hike will take about 40 minutes or less. The path is well marked, watch for the roots sticking out. The trees are amazing and you will hear a few birds.

While beautiful and worth it, I want to caution people that many reviews say it is a short trail, but it is not easy. My friend has an old ankle injury and he is now very swollen and in pain after our walk here. There...More

We run down this trail from the hill (Astoria Column to town) and it was a beautiful experience. We stopped at the Cathedral tree and enjoyed very much the soft trail, the silence. There was just the 2 of us (aprox.8.30am). Great way to discover...More

We loved the hike. It is an oasis with giant trees all around. I am not an experienced hiker and found it slightly challenging up the hill but it was a dry day and we had no problems.
