Stayed right next to the river front and was excited to not have to get in the car and drive down to get dinner. But the trolley stops at 6pm even in summer when the sun stays out until 9. Oh well Astoria.

We had a great time on the trolley along the riverwalk. Both the conductor & the commentator are volunteers and they do a terrific job giving the history of Astoria, as well as some funnies about the area. I would highly recomment it.

It's hard to believe for only $1, you can get a forty-five minute tour in a 103 year old trolley. Trolley is run entirely by volunteers, and they love to show off and explain the history of their city. Good advice is to catch the...More

Entertaining Astoria history tour on this historical trolley. Bob and Ron were most informative and quick witted on this one hour tour. If you're interested in the history of Astoria, this is a great way to hear it.

The old time trolley was a good way to see all of Astoria's waterfront. The two conductors took turns narrating. I think it cost us $1 each each way which was money well spent for a chance to rest our feet while seeing much of...More

A cheap, fun way to view the river front with narration provided. It takes an hour for the trolley to complete the loop and it stops at most locations just once an hour.

Hotel told us to just hold up a dollar bill if wanted to board between official stops, so did just that as we were coming out of Mo's. To turn the trolley around at the end of the line, the conductor just has passengers, one...More

This is a free public trolly that runs back and forth along the Riverfront walkway in downtown Astoria. At one end is the Maritime Museum.

My personal experience is that I have never had to wait in a long line for the trolley. I suppose it is possible, but have never experienced it.

I agree with other responses addressing trolley. There are seats front to back and you have to pull seat back to go on opposite direction. You do have to take steps up from ground to get in. Check with web or chamber of... More
