This place is in essence a place of honor for long ago fallen soldiers. One cannot help but have empathy for the soldiers who fought here over 150 years ago. How they were able to maneuver along this terrain was amazing. Over 13,000 men were...More

This is a neat place to visit and learn about Civil War battles in Dover TN. It is beautiful overlooking the Cumberland River.

This is a small but well preserved Civil War cemetery, one of the oldest, with graves of the Union soldiers lost in this battle (and other veterans of conflicts since.)

I enjoy visiting cemeteries. They are a peaceful place where you can meditate on the past. This is a well maintained place. It is in the middle of a residential area. Definitely worth taking time for a short visit on your trip.

Like other reviewers, I was unable to spend much time here, because it was close to closing time (and there was a storm coming). But I found it to be peaceful and well-kept, and there are some hiking paths nearby if one has the time....More

Nicely kept cemetery. The office building is a copy of others I've seen. Good picture opportunities.
