Great place to take the family for a historic experience of flag-raising, cannon fire and time period dress. In depth details of the significance of Ft McHenry and the battle.

Very well presented. Strongly recommend viewing the 10 minute movie and changing of the flags. Displays and history of fort for 200 years. Must do on your visit to Baltimore.

The rangers are accessible and knowledgeable. The fort is very well preserved. The exhibits and intro film are very well done.

If you go to visit the monument, do not skip the visitor center. Inside you will watch a short film about the Battle of Baltimore. Just when I thought it could not be more patriotic, the screen lifted and it showed the flag waving on...More

Loved the video with the story behind the Star Spangled Banner. Several of the displays looked interesting, but I was tired by the time I got there and failed to really look at them.

We had a great time at Fort McHenry. It is a definite must do if you like history. They had a fun drum demonstration going on while we were there.

On our way from Philadelphia to DC we decided to stop off at Fort McHenry and were pleasantly surprised. It is nicely restored and comfortable to walk around and thru. There were interpreters around to explain the guns and signage was helpful. The video presentation...More

To visit the Fort is $10 per person. However we only visited the Visitor center to see the exhibit and watch the video and the grounds and that is free.
