Great period drum and bugle show. Lots of room to walk but very little shade so be prepared. Period activities for the children like games of colonial times and kite making. If you're introducing youngsters to American history there's nothing better then standing in the...More

History fans will love this monument. Please make time to view the video in the visitor's center before walking the grounds. You will be glad you did.

We went to Fort McHenry in the summer of 2015 & went back again two weeks ago to see it again. There is so much to see & learn, with awesome knowledgeable to answer any questions.

I hadn't been to Ft McHenry since the 4th grade. It reminded me about how much American history I've forgotten. Very interesting, educational and I have to say that I enjoyed it much more this time. Great for families with kids and / or history...More

It was clean and nicely kept Fort. I liked the Ranger talk, he had a great sense of humor and tried to make it entertaining. The Fort was small and not much to see, can spend max an hour.

I've lived in Baltimore since 1979 and May 2016 was my first time here--what took me so long?? This is a must for history buffs since it was a pivotal place in the War of 1812. The Visitor's Center provides a good overview of the...More

Great historical site to visit. It is well-maintained. The staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable. There are numerous demonstrations throughout the day which are enjoyable to view and participate in. I would highly recommend visiting this historical monument and park.

To visit the Fort is $10 per person. However we only visited the Visitor center to see the exhibit and watch the video and the grounds and that is free.

No, they don't have any scooters, or motorized vehicles. I to have problems getting around. I have taken my power chair there. It gets into most of the places, but it can't get into some parts of the fort.
