No one told us that 2 of the bigger exhibits were closed. There were no lions and no elephants, granted there getting new exhibits built but for the money we spent to get in I think we should have been warned that they were doing...More

The zoo was a great experience! A variety of animals to see at this zoo- polar bears, penguins, chimps, giraffes, rhino, zebras, okapis, and cheetahs to name just a few! Volunteers were extremely helpful and informative! Clean environment and friendly staff.

Either prepare to take a long walk the zoo or take the shuttle when you enter. Our day was filled with mainly animals from the African continent(which is the main exhibit of the zoo). They do have a children's zoo area, which has a farm...More

The zoo is a better value than the national aquarium. There is free parking, reasonable prices for tickets and food, and there's alcohol to tolerate the unruly children. Some animals could be seen and there's construction until Fall 2019 so no lions or elephants. But...More

I'm not a big fan of zoos, keep that in mind if you're reading this review, but this one so far as I can tell is relatively middle of the road. There is a cute little train and the zoo is well laid out, restrooms...More
