My brother, who used to live in Baltimore ten years ago and went here frequently, took us to this market on a recent visit to Baltimore. He had told me that there were a lot of stalls and a lot of people. Maybe it was because of the Holidays, but we found the market less than crowded. In fact, it... More

Had been here ten years ago but was surprised on a recent trip (Oct. 2016) to find it more than half empty of merchants. Nothing there. Not worth the trip, can't see why locals would even venture into the market. Only 1 or two shops suffering to stay in business, I'm sure, due to lack of foot traffic.

Not the market of fifteen or twenty years ago but still a fun place to visit. As tourists we are not able to get into the produce and meat shops but enjoy the restaurant for beers, wine and always fresh oysters and shrimp.

The location was perfect and it gave me a chance to show my kids what the markets are like in Baltimore when I was growing up.

Went to Baltimore for a day trip. The locals recommended Nicks for a bite to eat. The place did not disappoint. The crabs were tasty, the beer was cold and the prices were reasonable.

If you are in the mood for clams and oysters in the shell, I strongly recommend you go to Nicks at the Cross Street Market. All their seafood is delicious. If you are still hungry, you can add to your meal one or two rolls from the sushi place which is next to Nicks. It is a fun place!

We like the market but especially like the food area in the back: Nick's serves classic Baltimore seafood but there also is a great sushi bar and raw oyster bar and sports bar, all together with reasonable food and bar prices. The food area is open Sunday's when the market is closed; enter from the back.

Whenever I go to Fells Point or Federal Hill. I go to Cross Street Market. They have stalls to get prepared food and also to purchase you fruits and veggies. Nice to see the old style building and surrounding community.

Complete waste of time. I thought I could buy fresh fruits veggies and good quality meat but it's not the case. The market in Philadelphia was so much better!
