My friends and I stayed right next to the restaurant and when we arrived to our apartment, the first thing we saw was a pirate! We had to eat there! Food was amazing, service was fantastic and what an experience! A must visit!

My wife and I agree they have the best fried chicken anywhere in the south. Amazing desserts and very friendly staff.

We stopped here for dinner on the recommendation of a local person. We were not disappointed ! Had the cat fish and it was excellent. Good service and a fair price.

The place is set up for tourism. The food was all in all pretty good. Service is very much a rush to get you in, and out.

this place is great the buffet, you get same food in the day as well you get it at night. only part is, its higher priced at night, with more romantic setting also the creeps. it's seems to be well atmospheric in the day, enthusiastic people, and more fake aristocratic, pretentious chaps. now the waiter and the hostess and the... She-crab soup was creamy and delicious. My tilapia was nicely cooked and had a crunchy crust but was bland. Mashed potatoes were good. Kim the waitress was friendly and had lots of info for us.

fun place to visit. since it is very touristy, it tends to be noisy, but the southern style food and service is surprisingly good for such a large restaurant

We went here as part of a tour of old Savannah, kind of a campy tour, but still fun, heard the tales of old, Pirates, etc... took a few photos, and a pair of creepy what looks like eyes. Hmmm....

Gave it a try and was pleased with the brunch buffet of southern style cooking including fried chicken, fried catfish, greens, mac'n cheese, blackeyed peas, snap beans, squash casserole, mashed potatoes/gravy. Peach Cobbler for dessert. Please try the She Crab Soup! Best I have had! Pirate girl gives tours of this old Tavern for tips.
