Lots of interesting animals and areas for children and adults. Don't miss this hidden hem. There are birds and four legged animals of all types. The really interesting part is the wetlands area with lots of reeds/sawgrass and alligators.

My friend and I enjoyed walking the trails. You can tell the staff really takes care of the animals and the park. The path going through the marshes is a surreal scene that you only get by being in places like Savannah. Military and students are $3. We spent almost 2 hours there on a beautiful day and we didn't... More

The animals have nice enclosures in very pretty settings. You can see the animals easily and the walking paths are well marked. There are picnic areas, and bathrooms available. Also a small gift shop.

Wow!! We had a great time here. We got there late and had limited time but was able to make it through. The animals are nice especially the puma who was very friendly and kept coming up to the glass, that was a great experience for my kids, 6 and 2. The walks are nice, not good for strollers but... Lots of young parents with children in strollers and a picnic area but you have to bring your own food, didn't see anything to buy except soft drinks... More

On the way to the Beach from downtown Savannah, stop in to this wonderful, natural setting that houses many wildlife animals in natural habitats. Very Educational Center set on the marshes of Savannah.

Not only are there furry and feathered friends to see, but if you walk these trails on a cool morning it is stunning. We got there early and we're glad later when it turned hot out in the woods. Many trees are down now since the hurricane, but not too much of the trail is cut off because of it.
