We stayed for three nights at the Planters Inn in Savannah, Ga. It is very centrally located in the historic district. From the valet tenders to check in desk, chamber maids to happy hour pianist it is a lovely, welcoming hotel. Everyone was cheerful and...More

Nice place to walk around and look at monuments, parks, go shopping, eat, drink, hang out. Many, many restaurants to choose from.

Beautiful houses and a must if you are on the 'Midnight' trail. It is well worth reading the book 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil' before visiting Savannah. It is a wonderful guide book as well as a brilliant novel.

We feel so enriched by our experience visiting the historic district. The Owens-Thompson house tour was very interesting. The squares are very well maintained, each is uniquely different. The architecture was very beautiful. Loving art, we truly enjoyed viewing the paintings.

Yes. There’s a space next to the driver. We had no problem with a double stroller. Very accommodating.

There is a Welcome Center where you can buy tickets for on and off trolley tours (strongly recommended). They have parking.
