We were fascinated by this school and all it has achieved. We visited the Outlander Fashion Exhibit that they had. It was a wonderful insight into this seasons possibilities.

Worth spending a few hours to walk the permanent galleries and new installations. Arch design of building interior is smart and beautiful - sun or rain!

I visit here every time I come to Savannah, about 8 times. The exhibits change often. The docents are always willing to chat and educate you about the art. Also has a little cafe.

Nice collections of modern art and worth the trip if that is your thing. I am fairly certain the collections are changed out pretty frequently.

The museum has the Impressionists set up nicely however, I would say that the tour guide needs to slow down her presentation a bit. Although very informative - she spoke so fast that it was hard to keep up at times!

We went to the Jepson Center to view the Bird Girl Statue but what a surprise. A beautiful, open, contemporary space. An exhibit of impressionistic works drew us in. We lingered.

The students and faculty displayed here show mixture of the various styles and techniques. It’s wonderful to take it all in! I highly recommend a stop when you are in the area.

I agree that this is a good art museum for families-not just galleries of paintings. That said, some twelve year old boys might not find this as interesting as other outdoor activities in the area.
