We toured other historic homes, up the Andrew low house captured our imagination with its period furniture, some from the low family. Our tour guide was so engaging and clearly loved sharing this beautiful home and stories with us.

This home has been lovingly maintained and shepherded into present day. The tour offers a great snapshot of what life was like in nineteenth century Savannah. Thank you to Harriet for being a warm and wonderfully knowledgeable docent!

This is a tour well worth taking, the fittings and furnishings are very special and whilst not all are original , some have been retrieved and re-instated. Also the colourful and oven tragic stories of the former occupants provide further insights into the way the...More

Our guide was wonderful as it was obvious he truly loved this home. He had lots of information boutique both the family that owned the house, the basic construction of the house, and the more current history of the home and it's contents. InforMore

As a former girlscout and then girlscout leader for 12 years it was a great tour to see where Juliette Low had lived and died.

Is the house accessible for people who cannot go up more than 5 or 6 steps?

The entrance to the home alone had about 15 steps (we entered with our tour through the back). To tour the second floor is another 15-18 steps. I would not recommend taking the tour if you can't do more than 5 steps.
