Great place to watch sports, bowl, let the kids run around the arcade

I live across the street, and Big Al's was one of the things that drew me to the area. It's always high-energy, the food is really good for a "sports-themed" place.

My young family has been visiting the bowling alley for a few years now and it is just as fun and clean as the day it opened. We highly recommend.

Hosted a family birthday on New Years Day and was overwhelmed by the food, service, and fun. The food was amazing; well beyond what we expected from a 'bowling alley'; he catering staff even accommodated our gluten free requests. The host of the event was terrific; focused on our party and made sure we had all that we needed. The... More

Great Idea, execution was off. While the staff was friendly enough the arcade needed some help. A number of the better arcade games were "temporarily unavailable" all night long. Had I known that I wouldn't have got the unlimited arcade. While the unlimited bowling was fun the music left something to be desired. Was it music videos with girls dancing... More

This place has so much fun stuff to do for people of all ages! There is of course bowling which is the main attraction. Aside from that they have a huge arcade, a bar, a restaurant, and tons and tons of TVs! My family had a party of about 15 and we spent hours here. Prices are pretty good too... More

I don't expect world class food, but what they had was decent. The bowling was fun, but the lanes had technical issues. It's a fun hangout. I recommend this for a fun outing.

I went to Big Al's for the first time. My first impression was, wow this place looks HUGE inside. The next thing I noticed was how noisy and loud it was inside Big Al's. You have loud music. Loud sounds from the Arcade Center. The bowling lanes were jam packed with bowler. I found that there are many distractions for... More

Big Al's in Vancouver has many different aspects to appeal to singles and families. The main attraction is their bowling center and game area--both are magnets for young children especially during the summer. Kids bowl for free during the summer which is a great incentive to to bring the younger generation into an exciting and long term sport. The downside,... More

Yes, it can be a little spendy but, if you go as a group and EVERYBODY pitches in, your going to enjoy what BIG ALS has to offer. There's an Arcade for the kids, bowling for the family, and a Adult Area aka Bar for the party goers. You can RESERVE the Banquet Room in the Lounge and there's a... More
