What a great place to hike close to Fredericksburg! Only the trails are open at this time of year but the hiking was great on a rare warm winter day. There were a few people there with dogs on leashes hiking up and down the...More

A lot of people like to fish here as well, but my wife and I like to rent a canoe and take in the quietness of nature.

I really love this park. Very quiet and peaceful. Little electric boats for rent. Nice piers and picnic tables. Walking trails are fun and quiet. Hopefully will always be a nice peaceful place to go.
