We went to the Chena Hot Springs and Aurora Watching tour by First Alaska. What a night!!! First, I have to commend our guide, Janet, for her patience, knowledge and overall pleasant personality. It was an all-night adventure and while we were sinking, Janet's energy and enthusiasm kept up going! We went to the Ice Museum and saw beautiful ice... More

We were picked up by Tony at our hotel and he was a fantastic host. Although the lights didnt put on a show we really enjoyed meeting the dogs and going sledding followed by a delicious meal. Everyone we meet on the tour was so welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Of the 3 tours were did here with... More

We were lucky enough to have Micheal for our Arctic Circle/Northern Lights tour. He was a fountain of knowledge! He also was an amateur photographer so he was able to set up my camera so I had fantastic photos of the Northern Lights. We were all extremely worried that we wouldn't get to see the lights because of the fog... More

My mom and I had a great time with 1st Alaska Tours dog sledding and highly recommend going with this company for this incredible experience! Ed picked us up at our hotel promptly and safely drove us out to the dog-mushing site. Trey was our dog sled musher; he was well informed, polite, and enthusiastic about the dogs and the... More

Last night we were picked up by Tony from the Minnie Street Inn. He was so personable and really sweetened the experience with his fun personality and knowledge of all things Alaska. He drove the difficult roads so carefully and we felt very safe the entire time. My boyfriend and I were VERY impressed with the level of service. We... More

I've always wanted to experience dog sledding. I went on the Dinner and Dogsled tour and had the most exhilarating experience riding on the sled in the beautiful snowy scenery of Alaska at night. They even introduced us to the cute new husky puppies before their older husky brothers and sisters took us out sledding. Sven, our dog musher was... More

Tony from 1st Alaska Outdoor School picked us up at the Westmark along with three others and drove us safely outside of Fairbanks. We were greeted by Sven, the Austrian owner of Arctic Winter Adventures and Miriam, our fantastic cook. Sven has 55 sled dogs and his love and care for his dogs and the sport is obvious and contagious.... More

Our yurt viewing for the Lights was cancelled due to snow & terrible visibility. We were rebooked to go to Chena Hot Springs as all other tours were full already. This turned out to be a great choice with lots of options. Our driver, Ed, was wonderful & helped my daughter with resetting her camera speeds to capture the Lights... More
