Beautiful drive to Chena Hot Springs where this is located - watch for moose. Tour is well worth the $15/person. The $15 appletini in a hand crafted ice martini glass? We passed because it was an 11am tour but those who enjoyed seemed happy. Remember, you're not paying $15 for just the drink, it's to cover the hand crafted ice... More

Had to be done but personally thought it was over priced for what it was, same goes for the Appletini small drink big price.

It is a very small exhibit. Although the resort offers 45-min tour, it may only need 15 mins to see everything. It is ok to take a look if you happen to visit Chena hot springs. But do not hold high expectations for it.

I decided to tour the Ice Museum while visiting Chena Hot Springs. Know that this is a fairly small exhibit but does have some nice ice sculptures. You can get the Appletini at the Aurora Ice Bar which is just a basic cocktail in a cool glass. Good photo op but nothing special about the drink. I spent about 20... More

Like most things at Chena, it was neat to see. The museum is small but the talent the artists have is amazing. I kind of felt like I was in a scene from Frozen! We didn't spring for the drinks at the ice bar, which looked yummy, so after exploring the various rooms, we were able to go get some... More

The ice museum is amazing, you can walk around and take lots of pics, the apple martini is also a most do, and the sculptures are so awesome!

The museum itself was kind of moderate, but it was really fun experience to have the Appletini in the ice glass.

The meseum is not big but very amazing! We loved seeing all the wonderful items frozen in the ice. The appletini with ice cup is a coooool experience. It is not far from the hotel room neither. Highly recommended for people who stayed at the hotel.

The Ice Museum is at Chena Hot Springs - about a 90 minute drive from Fairbanks. Well worth the trip. The Ice Museum is amazing. There are not only ice sculptures, there are entire "rooms" made of ice - beds, night stands, decorations. There is a full-service "bar" completely made of ice. The stools are covered with caribou skins so... More

While staying at Chena Hot Springs we visited the ice museum. Our host was very personable and took us through the building with amazing ice sculptures and rooms all make of ice. We've never seen something like this and while the visit was short it was fun to see. The appletini in an ice glass was very tasty and a... More
