A nice park to bring kids and still great for adults who like to walk inside the park and around the Chena River.

Walked in as we wandered about Pioneer Park and stayed in for two hours. There are a lot of airplanes (full size!) and historical pictures as you walk through. Bush pilots and WW2 material is fascinating. Even if airplanes aren't your thing, it is worth...More

If you enjoy airplanes, this is the place for you! We spent about an hour in there, reading all the information they had to give. I was shocked, near the end of our visit, they have the strap steel crosses of the crash of Will...More

Anything aviation related you wanted to know about Alaska could probably be found here. There are lots of displays to see including Will rogers and Wiley Post's Iron crosses.

Since this area has an air force base I would expect more out of this museum and park. But this it's probably ok since it is Alaska!

This museum is housed in Pioneer Park. It has a dozen or more airplanes inside that reflect the history of aviation in Alaska. Also as displays of motors and other artifacts involved in aviation. This is not the best Aviation museum I have ever been...More

It is located within Pioneer Park. You can find it, cause there is a big aircraft next to it. The collection is very good, and rich. Worth it!

This museum is small and charges a fee to enter. It is housed in a geodesic dome in Pioneer Park and has a few planes and several exhibits. If in the Park go see it, but I wouldn't make a separate trip for this.
