Our Dog Mushing School offers customized dog mushing lessons. Sled rides or lessons can be combined with educational kennel tours. Highly recommend staying in the yurt. So wonderful & peaceful. Brave the outhouse, it's worth it to experience the solitude, the friendly dogs howling at night, and the breakfast.....great! All the staff was welcoming. I would go back in a heartbeat!More

Hi Shelia, Iditarod runs normally from Anchorage to Nome and does not include Fairbanks. For a few years the start has originated in Fairbanks due to low snow in Anchorage. They won't know until much later in season where... More
