They have turned the old Floyd Bennett Field into a multi-use facility. There are still the old hangars and strips. However, now you can actually camp here, swim and play a variety of sports.

You can fish here,play,cricket,soccer,baseball, football,race model cars . No model airplanes or drones here. NYCPD helicopter squadron or driving school is here. Many area's are off limits but otherwise a good time can be had when they have their festivals.

I think if you go to the Camp Office (by the big aircraft hanger) at the campsite they should be able to help you. They are there 9-5 and I think until 8p.m. Fri & Sat.
