I love the boardwalk. I love the dancers that gather sometimes on the weekends. I love sitting by the water or getting my feet wet. In the summer I love to sit and soak up the sun and I will buy a drink or two from some of the vendors. Delicious.

A must if visiting NY. I'm fortunate that I live in Bklyn, and can always go to Coney Island, great place for families or anyone in general. Beach is awesome ,love to see how families get together to spend time just enjoying the view or riding on many of the rides there. Food, well that's great as well, Nathan's is... More

I love Coney Island, in general, but this place has memorialized the past in a great way. They have memorabilia from the good old days, freak shows in the summer, and my kids and I went to their magic show on Sunday. The magic show was great for kids, and the price was awesome. The venue is small, so there... More

This is a place to go if you want to getaway from the city and the chaos. Chill out atmosphere by the beach with a lot of ice cream spots and restaurants. The beach is very nice as swell. There is a amusement park where you can bring kids and have a good time. Awesome place.

Totally worth the long ride on the subway from Manhattan. I really enjoyed the boardwalk and the beach being right there.

We went during the off season so no rides were open. Its a nice area and the girls still enjoyed looking around and the candy shop. It was also nice seeing the ocean and walking the pier.

Coney Island won't be the fanciest stop on a trip to NYC but is still worth the trip for its place in NY history and the iconic wooden rollercoaster "the Cyclone". It still thrills at 75+ years. The beach is crowded but if you walk over to the ocean parkway /sea breeze area it can be pretty quiet and tranquil.
