Nice park with nice sculptures buildings, boathouse, bridges, water bodies, yet a bit dirty like many parks in New York. However I'd recommend it for a visit in spring or autumn. In summer - it's full of barbecues, and noises, and a lot of people....More

Love this place. Wander away from the main area and you can see the red-tailed hawk, blue herons and other amazing birds. I never was much of a bird watcher but I can't help but notice them here. It's also truly a neighborhood park -I...More

Lovely park for a walk and an opportunity to get away from the hustle of the city. Undulating small hills alongside brooks and winding pathways provide peace and tranquility. Popular space for joggers, cyclists, dog walkers and families. Buy a bagel on 7th Ave and...More

Prospect Park was in need of some care and investment upon our visit, but made for a nice stroll. We were lucky enough to see a wild large bird of prey up close during a walk through woodland. Highlight of Prospect Park: The creepy looking...More

Expansive Prospect Park has plenty of room to stroll, jog, picnic. It has a decent zoo. We visited in December, but there was evidence of many flowering plants so it must be quiet beautiful in warmer weather.

If you didn't have this in Brooklyn then it doesn't have anything. I took a really nice walk to the park on the day of the Brooklyn Marathon ( which I would have won in my younger days.. but I digress) It's your run of...More
