NY Aquarium was a good experience. The shark show outside the aquarium was good in 4D. Then the aquarium itself has a lot of variety (from small to medium sized fishes like stingrays and a wide variety of sharks). There is also a sea lion...More

They finally opened up the shark exhibit and I couldn't be any more happier, more than most kid's. Roof top bar and a beautiful view. More is still to come and I will be going back to see the octopus because they didn't have that.

Visited here during our holiday to New York, as part of a trip down to Coney Island. There was a summer half price promo on, so entry was $14.95 each, which is about the right price to be honest. I'd have felt disappointed had we...More

In a great location on the Coney island Boardwalk, this is hardly worth the trip. Its been six years since SuperStorm Sandy wiped this place out, and its been painfully slow in rebuilding. The much hyped Shark Exhibit will take about twenty minutes to go...More

The Aquarium is worth a visit, especially since the new shark exhibit opened in June. It features a room with a curved ceiling in which you feel as if you can reach out and touch the sharks. The children can crawl into a glass tunnel...More

We hadn't been to the Aquarium since our daughters were kids. We hoped to take the grandkids until "Hurricane Sandy" intervened. At long last the WCS has brought the Aquarium back in style. The outdoor exhibits are well planned - sea lions, pelicans, sea otters,...More

I went during the half price promo and I liked the Shark Exhibit but there isn't much else to see. There is still a lot under construction. It was fine for half price but not the $30 full price

We visited the aquarium to check it off our list and take advantage of the half price ticket promotion. We didn’t have high hopes due to past reviews and I’m glad we knew what we were in for. Some of the coral/fish exhibits seemed murky...More

My wife and I went to the NY Aquarium last Saturday for the purpose of seeing the new Shark exhibit. We arrived early as recommended by the Aquarium website and were not disappointed as the new exhibit is very well done. We had no trouble...More

This is a nice aquarium but rather small. Many of the exhibits are still being repaired from Hurricane Sandy. When these are back for the public, it will be much better. The half price promotion was great.

There are no free days in August. I believe that every day in both July and August are half price from the normal entrance fee.
