I would not make this a destination. If you are in the neighborhood it might be worthwhile to drop by for a snack, piece of fruit or a good loaf of bread. What is special about it is the setting and the pace of it....More

Small market meant for locals to get vegetables, flowers, cheese, fresh bread, etc. There are only about 10 stands so this is is no way a "destination" in NYC, but perfect for locals. Everything is wonderful.

For someone who loves vegetables and fruits the way I love it, what a treat!!!! Not only that you will find fresh bread and cakes and cookies sold by vendors. Most of the fruits and vegetables comes from Pennsylvania, so fresh. You can find applesauce...More

The fruit, apples and such, are usually good. The baked goods are myriad and probably excellent, but not what I'm usually looking for at a farmers' market. I do like their apple cider as well, though.
